Data Deletion Instructions

Use the path below that matches your relationship with OmniChat. Never send a password, access token, one-time code, or private conversation content in a deletion request.

If you connected a Meta account

  • Open Facebook Settings & Privacy, then Settings.
  • Open Apps and Websites and select the OmniChat app.
  • Remove the app and choose the option to request deletion of information.
  • Meta sends OmniChat a signed request. We verify it using the Meta App Secret, remove the authorizing Meta user identifier and access tokens, and disconnect matching OAuth connectors.
  • Meta displays the confirmation code and status link returned by OmniChat. Keep that code to check the result on our deletion status page.

If you are an OmniChat workspace user

Ask your workspace owner to remove your account and any integrations you authorized. For a verified account-level request, email privacy@srv1179701.hstgr.cloud from your workspace email. Include your name, workspace name, and the type of request. We may ask for additional verification before changing or deleting data.

If you messaged a business using OmniChat

Contact that business directly. The business controls its customer records and can verify your identity, locate the relevant conversation, apply its legal retention rules, and instruct OmniChat to delete or correct the data. If you cannot reach the business, email us with the business name and channel used; we will route the request without asking you to disclose message content.

What happens after a request

We confirm receipt, verify authority where needed, and delete or de-identify information no longer required for the service. We may retain limited records when required by law, necessary to prevent fraud or security abuse, or held temporarily in protected backups. If deletion cannot be completed, the requester will receive a reason when the law permits.

Meta dashboard configuration

Meta app administrators should configure the public instructions URL as this page and the Data Deletion Request callback as the OmniChat backend endpoint documented in the deployment checklist. Both endpoints must remain public, HTTPS-only, and accessible without an OmniChat login.
